Taking Care Of Your Mental Health
Strong mental health is vital for your well-being. According to Unicef, millions of young people struggle with anxiety, stress, depression, and even suicide in Thailand. An unplanned pregnancy only adds to your feelings of desperation, fear, and rejection. But now, help is available.
When facing an unexpected pregnancy, it’s common to have some of these thoughts:
- Being afraid you will be judged
- Feelings of guilt or shame
- Uncertainty about the future
- Concern about your body
- Not knowing what to do or where to turn

Taking Care Of Your Body
Taking care of yourself physically is crucial too. Have your doctor provide a complete health checkup and follow these suggestions for better health:
- Take prenatal vitamins
- Drink plenty of water
- Eat a healthy diet
- Limit caffeine
- Avoid certain foods such as undercooked or raw fish, eggs, and sprouts
- Avoid cigarettes, alcoholic drinks, and recreational drugs
